When the sun goes down over Roatán, Ronis Villeda and Evlyn Ramos light up the sand. Roatan Fire is the island’s fire show: about 25 minutes of fire dance, music and island energy on the beach, a few steps from the audience. You can catch it every week at beach resorts in West Bay, or book it as a private show for your wedding or event anywhere on the island.
- Show: about 25 minutes, 9 to 10 fire acts.
- Weekly nights (West Bay): Wednesday 8:00 pm at Mayan Princess, Friday 7:00 pm at Infinity Bay, Sunday 6:00 pm at Bananarama.
- Private shows: weddings and events anywhere on Roatán, from $300.
- Ask or book: WhatsApp +504 3320-2450.

What you will see
Each act uses a different fire technique, one after the other. Depending on the night and the venue, the show can include:
- fire staff and fire fans with five flaming fingers each
- fire whip and fire hat
- fire juggling balls and triple fire poi
- fire chain and fire umbrella
- fire hula hoop
It is a show for everyone: families, couples and groups of friends watch it from their table or standing barefoot on the sand.
Who performs

Ronis Villeda learned from Paul Abel, a Canadian artist who graduated in art in Canada and brought fire shows to Roatán. Ronis started working with Paul in 2007 making signs, paintings and crafts, began fire training in 2008, and in 2010 they made their first sand sculptures at the Mahogany Bay port. When Paul moved to Grand Cayman in 2017, Ronis and his wife Evlyn Ramos kept the shows going for Paul until the pandemic closed everything in 2020. In 2021 they started again and bought the business from Paul. Today they perform together, and on some nights their nephew Junior Villeda joins them.
In the press
Their story was told by PÄYÄ, the Roatán magazine, in “Whipping up the Fire” (2023, updated October 2026), and a photo of Evlyn dancing with fire was chosen for the cover of the Roatan Map (February 2025). Read more about us.
