Roatán has two cruise ports: Isla Tropicale in Mahogany Bay and the Port of Roatán in Coxen Hole. Your ship decides which one you use. For a private shore excursion, your guide usually picks you up about 1 to 1.5 hours after the ship docks, outside the terminal, and brings you back with time to spare before all aboard.

Which port will my ship use?
It is in your cruise documents and in the cruise line app. Isla Tropicale is in Mahogany Bay; the Port of Roatán is in Coxen Hole, the island's main town. Both are a short drive from West Bay Beach, Maya Eden Wildlife Sanctuary and most of the island's highlights.
How does pickup work for a private tour?
- Your guide meets you outside the terminal about 1 to 1.5 hours after docking, or at the time agreed with you.
- You travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with your own driver and guide, only with your group.
- The plan is built around your ship's schedule, and we keep a safe margin to bring you back on time.
What happens if it rains or the ship arrives late?
If the ship is late or it rains a little, we look at it together and decide whether the tour can go ahead, adjusting the plan to the time you have. A cruise tour cannot be moved to another day, so if your ship cancels the stop in Roatán or there is heavy rain, you get your money back.
How do I pay?
Cash is preferred on the day, and you can reserve with a deposit by PayPal; cards are also accepted. Prices are per person and in U.S. dollars.
