The Roatan Fire Show performs three nights a week on the beaches of West Bay: Wednesday at 8:00 pm at Mayan Princess, Friday at 7:00 pm at Infinity Bay and Sunday at 6:00 pm at Bananarama. Each show lasts about 25 minutes, with 9 to 10 fire acts by Ronis Villeda and Evlyn Ramos.

When the sun goes down over West Bay, the sand turns dark, the music starts and the first flame lights up the beach. If you are staying on Roatán, it is one of the island's nights you will remember long after the tan fades.

The weekly schedule

  • Wednesday, 8:00 pm — Mayan Princess, West Bay
  • Friday, 7:00 pm — Infinity Bay, West Bay
  • Sunday, 6:00 pm — Bananarama, West Bay

Schedules can change with holidays or private events, so it is worth sending a quick message before you go: WhatsApp +504 3320-2450.

What happens during the show?

Each act uses a different fire technique: fire staff, fire fans with five flaming fingers, fire whip, fire hat, juggling balls, triple poi, fire chain, fire umbrella and fire hula hoop. The performers work on the sand, a few steps from the audience, so families, couples and groups of friends can watch from their table or standing barefoot on the beach.

Who are the performers?

Ronis Villeda started working with the Canadian artist Paul Abel in 2007, trained with fire from 2008 and, together with his wife Evlyn, took over the show in 2021. Today they are the team behind the Roatan Fire Show, and Ronis also runs private tours of the island and custom sand sculptures.

Tips to enjoy it

  • Arrive a little early to get a good spot near the sand.
  • If you are not a guest of the resort, ask the resort or send us a message first.
  • Photos and videos are welcome; flash is not needed, the fire is the light.
  • Keep children seated with you during the show.

Can I book a private fire show?

Yes. Ronis and Evlyn perform private shows for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and resort events anywhere on Roatán, from $300. Tell us the date, the place and the number of guests on WhatsApp +504 3320-2450.
